Hello everyone!

New into the space. I read all the important articles, such an amazing community!! Felt like gaining years of knowledge in a few days.

How did I end here? I started getting interested in mechanical watches about a year ago. As money is not falling out my pockets and drawn by the outstanding designs of brands like Vacheron Constantin, Omega and Rolex, I started looking into homages. From there I though, why pay some chinese guy for something I can probably do myself? and I started looking into modding. I did some, and it is a hobby I enjoy, specially doing original pieces, with unique (really unique, bespoke made) dial, etc. Problem is, parts for modding usually fall short in quality... So I got into the rep world. I am still debating myself of wearing a logo that is not real, most probably I will mod a rep to get rid of the logo, as I will fell more confortable, but also maintain quality. Nothing against people wearing full reps, but I am very introvert, and the idea of having to explain myself is excruciating enough.

This forum gave me enough confidence to purchase my first rep. Waiting now for it to arrive and check if the quality is as good as people say here.
