well I wanted the black datewheel one but they gave me the white datewheel dial instead....
wouldn't want the white date cause of the fact that the datewindow will look more obvious with black white contrast
At the end customs didnt notice anything funny and let it pass without a problem! Today I got 2 pretty watches in the mail! I'll upload a few pics when I get home tonight!
Date window cut-out issues on QC pics?
Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but the cut outs for the date windows on my QC pics are looking crusty and terrible, the area in between the "A" and "P" look discolored, and, to a lesser extent, the paint on the second hands look uneven. Is it just me? Would you accept these if you were me? Am I picking through scraps of the Noob sale right now?

You're right... I took that Rolex photo down... that's not really my question at hand.
I'm curious if the issue with the AP's is one of those things that will look better or worse in-person on the wrist. I'm worried that the jagged cut will look much worse in person when I get it. This is also my first ROO, so I don't really know what I'm looking for!
I can only say that in my stand. Which is for me. Noob is doing a clearance sale so they literally are made of up spare parts. It's all about luck so can't do much about it. Whereas if you didn't pay the clearance price for it and you paid the normal $500+usd for each you should be picky and ask for the perfect one.

Think for the clearance price we are paying, we need to manage our expectations. Nothing to be proud about, but I accepted my white ceramic with a slight scratch on the case back.
My date font cut out has exactly the same thing as the safari you are showing. When you know it and look at it, you see it, but it certainly isn´t worse in real life in comparison with the picture.

Same thing here. Sora actually rejected 2 white ceramics. One has a mark on the bezel and the other has a bad timegrapher reading. The third finally arrived 2 weeks after the first one and there was a scratch on the caseback and the caseback screws are a little roughed up but since these can't be seen on the wrist, I just accepted it.
It will need significant work on the DW read-out and Xtal, and it even has a moldy rotor, and the case will be fired with matte glaze in a hot kiln at some point, but at least it was cheap, LOL, (thanks <<<toro):
