What is the reasoning of posting something like that in the FFZ? I'm genuinely curious because to me it very much looks like you knew you were doing something that's not allowed
Just made a post looking for --- mod edit: oops, you did it again ! ---, didnt realise it was that much of an issue ! Seems there is a Huge amount of paranoia against new people here !

The "paranoia", if that's what you want to call it, is to protect both new and existing members, but primarily new inexperienced members.
It's not done to punish, it's done to try minimize the potential for scams.

What does this have to do with paranoia? It’s simply a rule that everyone follows — even the mods and owners.
But please, do go on telling us how the enforcement of very simple rules makes us “paranoid.”

As a fellow new member I appreciate the extra level of security. If you don't want to pay $15 to verify then don't. But if you are selling a watch that's literally less than shipping so it says something about you.
It’s a free world, you don’t have to pay a penny if you don’t want to. And TBH, calling the people who set up all these to protect all members “paranoia” is just childish and stupid IMO. And if the amount of being a Supporter, Patron and getting certified already bothers you enough to make a fuss, then honestly, you shouldn’t even be in the rep game. Work harder, do better, save the money. it’s for your own good.

Before the W2B rule put into place, every day we had some new member complain or get scammed because they just join to buy watch without understanding replica or even having some basic common sense to verify and vet whoever is DMing them.
But when they get scammed who has to solve the problem and mess? Of course it's mod team.
Posting a W2B is basically a giant "LOOK AT ME! I AM LOOKING FOR THIS WATCH AND I AM NEW!" neon light for scammers.
You've been here a while. The culture of RWI is not your buy/sell market place. If you want that go to Discord or Reddit and do whatever you want.

Not at all...its a heads up for anyone with that model who is thinking about selling one here in UK. I was bringing back watches from China more than 44 years ago and have done the same from manila, BK and HK many times since . Did well from it pre internet days ! I dont see myself as being the type to get scammed one bit !
You might not be but others maybe. The rules are for the protection of everyone not just you. Like reaps said lots of other places to buy and sell. RWI has been around along time thanks to rules like these.
I honestly don’t understand the issue here- op are you saying that you should be able to post in the wtb section without being a supporter because you are savvy and you won’t be scammed?
i am a newbie, he obviously wasn’t referring to me. Ok @LondonLuke is the issue that you don’t think YOU should have to pay to get into the wtb section, or is it that you wish everybody had access so that you had your best chance of getting whatever (redacted model) you keep putting up? Sorry for being slow here.
