I like the look of these! I also worry about the wear on the movement as well. I am yet to take a rep to a watch shop for a repair and I'm concerned when I eventually do they may take it off me.

Good point about the additional wear to the movement. You can get a similar non-winding box for displaying.
As far as servicing goes. No one in UK is going to confiscate your watch.
I wouldnt go into an AD for a service mind you.
Find a local watchsmith and ask if they would repair/service asian movements. Most will, and most have probably had a few in their hands at some point.
I had a local goldsmith/watchsmith make an adjustment to an bracelet for me. An Rep Constellation that i could not figure out removing a link.
He kept saying how good it looked and that the links were the same pain in the ass on the Gens.

Dhgate does have good boxes. You just have to sign the right seller, know what you're looking for, and talk to the seller to make sure they send you the correct one. And they're relatively inexpensive. But they are reps. And considering a genuine box is less than $150 it's a question of what you want.
