This has been covered in the past but here goes. I love Hamilton I will buy the Navy Frogman in the not so distant future. Hamilton gens are too affordable to rep. The most expansive gen Hamilton is around $1,200.00usd. Most are between 300.00 and 700.00. To rep these out just doesn't make any sense. Hope this helps you out.

Not only price, as there are some good tag reps but the "prestige" and demand. No offense but there are only a few people that would be interested in a hamilton rep, compared to 85% who join this forum are looking for a rolex or panerai rep...

If you shop around you will easly find Hamiltons well below list.
They are made by Swatch who also make Omegas. So think of
Hamiltons as the poor mans Omega.A good well made watch but
not really worth repping.
The Jazzmaster viewmatic is my fav,and excellent value next to an Omega

They are both less than $1000, very solid and well built, I don;t think it is necessary to get rep.

Hamilton reps DO sometimes appear.....Ive had a few thru my hands

But rare doesnt really do justice to the occasional nature of their appearance!

However I noted with some amusement that Guangzhou is now awash with Swatch replicas

if anyone's interested

But isn't the Seamaster Pro automatic going for less than 1500? Even cheaper on some online sites. I routinely see the quartz version for less than a 1000.

Ah Randy, TJ Maxx thats great lol. Honestly I'd buy a Hamilton from the AD. I have one near my office and they gave me a great price. Just slightly over the best price I found online. I'd rather have a place to go if I have any problems. Thats just my opinion. Hamiltons are very nice watches for the money. Their website is pretty informative do a search for ADs in your area.

P.S. you should be getting around 30% off of list.

That's is one reason I love my SMP rep. I could actually buy the gen if I wanted and pull it off. I would not feel as comfotable with a Rolex or a Pam.

you know, i had a hard time finding any hamiltons that were non-quartz. most if not all seemed to be quartz. Is that the trend with the "non" fine-jewlery watches?

and wow, i did not know the Swatch Company makes omega watches? WOW that's cool info.

Thats funny because most of the Hamilton watches I've seen are automatics. Swatch doesn't actually make Hamilton watches, they are under the Swatch umbrella. As is Tissot, Blancpain, Breguet, Rado, and many more. All those companies I believe still operate autonomously (spelling?) Swatch is the largest watch company in the world.
