We also have to remember that the factories need to use up what they have already produced in parts. If the initial release is 300 watches but they have produced 10000 inserts it is doubtful they will scrap the remaining inserts.

It's not until they have depleted currently produced parts that they will retool for a new part.

But, what the hell do I know.

Lol Apparently just as much as anyone else! Check all the posts of people trying to predict what the watch manufacturers are going to do. it doesn't take but a few to see that most of the time we get it wrong.

Anyone who tries to say other wise is fool'n themselves. It's the people who claim absolutes you got to stay away from though...

Soon they'll make cases from forged shit.

Made from gen 1:1 recycled grocery bags.

No, wait.. recycled garbage cans!

Just playing around. They look ok. This isn't a dig at the rep makers, i'm on the fence be it gen or rep. Would probably help if I educated myself and saw one in the flesh.

And funny you should mention the LV you did for me - wearing it right now as I type. Thing still glows line a torch. In fact, it glows the brightest of any watch I have - blows my Ziggy lumed stuff out of the water!

You know your watches! Yeah, it's was one of the first TT's WM9 did. I was one of the first to get one from him. Joe lumed the dial and cleaned up the crown guards and installed a gen crown & tube. That was all it needed.

One watch I won't sell. You know, for sentimental reasons and all...

They were said to be real gold but I cant remeber waht the final verdict was but see yhe dial how it looks not relumed this is what I try to make the modders now and then see the key to modding imho is to not make it look modded after the modds this is a fine example , ,tell them how many years ago your lv and tt was done and u wear that lv like a mad man and still runs like a new one

Yeah, George at WM9 might have overstated things a time or two, but he was always good to me - even though the mid links were not really solid 18k gold. To be honest, not really sure how he did it, but I bought the watch from WM9 in 2007 and polish the gold regularly and there has been no signs of the gold wearing through.

I checked my emails Joe and you did the WM9 late 2007 and the MBW LV in 2006. I rotate these watches through the collection to wear and not a single month has gone by since you did them that I have not worn either watch at least a few days. About seven years now and they both run perfect. A true testament to the quality of your work.

Enough of killing time in this thread until we get our Carbon Divers. No sign of my tracking number showing any movement. Anyone else with a tracking number show that their watch has made it to customs yet?

I am really looking forward to this watch as my other AP Diver is currently getting a a new Swiss movement and a relume by Goin. I am having AP withdrawals...
