Hi guys,
My H-factory diver has a shit movement. Today it sounded funny so I had a look. When I removed the auto-winding bridge all the wheels fell out. I'm using it now as a manual but I suspect it's only a matter of time before this movement dies completely. I need to decide what to do.
1) send it to vac and install a Swiss. Other than the movement this watch is nice. The AR is ok bar the cyclops, the markers are straight, the tachy is well aligned... I'd be very happy with it with a Swiss...
2) sell it as is and buy a V3 from Angus. This gives me a potentially better watch but no guarantee the QC will be as good as my one at the moment. However I like the idea of it being waterproof, and the cyclops and dial are probably better. There's no guarantee I could sell the H-fac though, and will be getting another clone that could be great or could be shit.
3) send it back to andrew and be patient. It's a right crap shoot though, weeks to get there, no idea of the quality of the repair, probably be another shit movement go into it... but it's free.
Any ideas guys? Leaning towards sending it to vac for a new movement.
