So I was living in TX when I bought this. It was in AZ. So the wife and I drove the dually to AZ to make the deal and pick up the spare barrels, tripod, linker/links, spare parts, etc. and 5000 rounds of ball and API. Now we had to get back to Dallas without being stopped by Border Patrol or LE.

It was all legal, but would still be hard to explain post 9/11. Ended up driving 15 hours straight to get home. Didn’t quite feel comfortable stopping overnight at a hotel. My wife and I still face palm about that trip.

And I thought mag dumps in the FAL were pricey. Nothing compared to a .50 belt. That's up there with feeding a M134.
