the military looks quite dark green, not as light as it should be but might be light too.

Just checked, and I paid exactly $298 without shipping from watchinternational for my br01-92 almost two years ago, and judging by pics from watches, these seems to be clearly superior: no color difference between bezel and case, flush screws, center dial logo, and stronger lume!

And that carbon/orange will go perfectly with my gen orange fabric strap!

Looks like 4 of the 5 are available on PC right now. The 5th will probably be the golden heritage we've already seen. Nice to see they updated the rubber straps as well.

The phantom is the only one I'd be able to quickly spot as the date wheel on the has a white font rather than grey and the numerals look painted rather than applied. The other look great (although the carbon orange probably doesn't have the LTD engraving on the back).

Edit: after looking a bit more closely, it looks like they repped the ceramic case in steel. It's not super noticeable, but the bezel around the crystal is definitely thicker.

I'm in for 2 already. I just got my QC pics for the carbon orange and military. Good news that the serial numbers are now random, although unfortunately starting very low. Mine were 00042 and 00303. Most of B&Rs BR 03 lines are in the 20xxx range these days.

Scottie they don't have the black with white (I only see 3 on their site). I don't want the orange edition. I noticed that you posted a pic of it (3rd photo in your post). Do they sell that version?

Yes, black with white is available too and these are not qc pics, these are from dealers listings on their website. Check link I posted few posts back, you have to click it, then close it and open it again to see what's in it.

Got it. Might grab this version. The Commando looks awesome, but the hands don't look like they're cut as nice as the gen.

Pics from site are quite bad but front case screws should be a little rounded, not totaly flat like they looks to be, difficult to see if the number are flat or a little bit raised and crown should not screw in (a good thing to me any way...)

The new 03-92 Black with white lettering is going to be the most accurate. The 03-92 carbon orange would probably be second as it's only flaw I can see is that the case back doesn't have the limited edition engravings.

That said, all four of these reps are copied from the PVD steel case. Unfortunately, it looks like the top case has been copied from the ceramic version, so the lip around the crystal is wider than on the gen, and the edges are slightly different. Not a show stopper, but an instant tell for me. Not sure if they'll fix in future versions. The caseback engravings from my QC shots are spot on from the gen BR 03-92s I've owned.

These just look cool so I can deal with the minor flaws. I don't think you'd ever get called out on a B&R either.
