Hello there - so i have been looking around for somewhere to sell a Jeager Lecoultre Replica - though to be honest i might not even go the whole 9 yards as I understand they dont even really fetch very much - i mentioned in another post that i have 3 watches but didnt realise then that this is a replica only web site - so yes, one of the 3 is a reverso replica, which apparently my father in law might have purchased on the italian market for more than it is worth. I didnt get into the nitty gritty of it with him as he probably doesnt feel very smart about the move now - but as it stands, i have no interest in keeping it and might try posting it for users to ogle at first and eventually sell if it attracts anybody on here.

anyway, nice forum, im quite familliar with all sorts of forums and notice the attention to user experience is quite thorough !

THank you both for your input and links, i have indeed been around some of the new member posts and i will come clean in saying that yes i am mostly here with the intent of parting with this single replica watch that i own - I am well aware that the site has a lot more to offer watch ethusiasts, and ill admit a second major failing, which is that I am only mildly interested in watches and although i used to collect swatch watches back in the day, i have not owned or worn a watch in over 2 decades. Just not something I am interested in parcticularily - but i have done some research in terms of the value of replica JLC watches to understand what their worth is with the help of your web site.

Once again i totally understand what the aim of the web site is, and would never assume that staff here are geared towards providing a service - as stated in my above post, i see the dedication that staff are providing this forum with and acknowledge that the site has tons of information for those genuinely interested, but i dont suppose you will be able to avoid those users like myself who are simply looking for an outlet to part with specific items. I am not looking to be disrespectful and to be honest the little cash that selling this JLC will bring me is perhaps not worth the hassle, but i rather than sit in a box in the attic I thought i might at least share some pics of the item, perhaps someone here would give it a happier home



I will share some pics of the item before listing it of course - and yes i have read posts on how to list etc - and I realise that if i do, i may not get responses based on my very low post count etc but its worth a shot i suppose. I can demonstrate that I am a reliable web retailer through my profile accounts on more than one platform and am not a scammer - interested parties will be able to message me on those said platforms if need be, ill answer within hours.

You will not get a response because your listing will be immediately nuked (not approved & deleted) if you are not a participating member. Also, your rep would fetch very little interest anyway without a clear history w/ proof (where was it purchased at what price, which factory produced it etc.) and other important key information such as the movement inside or how old it is.

So i wasnt attempting to sell offsite - as i am clearly stating that i was going to list it here. I had read somewhere that one could show proof of good standing on external sites somewhere in the forum, on one of the sales guidance pages - sure no need to communicate there -

and fair enough i dont have enough history on the item, i didnt buy it myself - I thought it would be ok to post pics as a way of establishing what the origin of the watch might be with the help of learned individuals on tbe forum, if that makes sense.

Sure, you can do that as long as you don't mention that it's for sale. You can certainly put photos with a request to analyze / ID what you actually got there, probably best to do that in the brands sub section (I believe we have one for JLC, if I'm not mistaken. If not, publish the pics in the "other brands" section).
