Keep finding myself reading reviews and watching videos of this badboy. Anyone got any first hand experience they'd like to share? Price seems to be around 2k and there are some deals to be had occasional. Never had a GS and always been a fan!

I can see myself getting a GS at some point too. Really fancy a Spring Drive, but the Caliber 9F is highly appealing too. That SBGN027 at 39mm is very appealing. Really short L2L and only 12.3mm thick.

GS is the best value for money imho. Since i got my first Spring Drive, i couldnt go back to rolex. The finishing, the details, the dials, the movement, everything falls into the Excelent category. Its kind of a bummer really, cos now i only look at A Lange and Glashutte...
That being said, their market price sucks. So i wouldnt advice to buy a new one.
Oh! And the bracelets also suck! Had to buy a £600 leather one from the AD.

GS is awesome. The new evo9 series is great. Used ones can be bought for a solid discount. There’s one up for sale at RWI right now.

I handled them at Seoul Airport, they have a GS Shop.
The build quality is amazing. is it the quartz Version, too? i think so.

I read that a lot about the bracelet and clasp. Have always loved the snowflake dial but never bought one due to bracelet and clasp concerns

Yeah, I've read that the bracelets aren't that great, and that really does put me off. I'm so used to what quality bracelets feel like (such as Monta) that I struggle to wear anything less, and tend to lean more towards leather or FKM rubber if the bracelet doesn't cut it.

Think I'll now spend a good few hours looking at second hand Caliber 9F quartz options on rubber/leather

I personally think the bracelets are fine, however leather straps can always be bought. Wouldnt buy them from GS, clasp + strap are very overpriced imo.

I really do need to try one on, as I'm not speaking from any RL experience. That White Birch you are selling really is a stunning looking watch. Such classy and interesting dials.
