Well, if you ever find yourself in Singapore at one point or another, head to a place called The Bencoolen where there are some second hand watch dealers. I saw a gen sitting in the window just last week 8)

I remember reading somewhere the black lever version is from a '05/'06 model. The newer ones do come with a SS lever.

But like you said, it's too nice a watch to lose sleep over something like that! Ditto the wobbly lever! :D

Can Anyone Confirm this 05/06 model changes to the current version???

Just ordered the Graham Chronofighter also. It is an amazing watch. Thanks for the post Lolex, it helped me pull the trigger. :D

Welcome to the Chronofighter Oversize Club. Hambone!

Be prepared to give your wrist a good work-out. I've been wearing mine for the last two days at work and boy, does this watch get attention or what! And yes, you'll feel it on your wrist! Whew!

:D

Boy~!! This sure is one awsome looking watch.

Just a question on the hands, is it my monitor or are the hands on the gen black Vs. the silver on the rep?

I'm jealous...I ordered on earlier this month, but I think I've been scammed by a "fly-by-night" dealer!

I'm still waiting to see if everything works out and I get my Graham....

Must be the monitor :)

Another angle on the GEN:

*Again..take note of the 9 hour baton's spacing which is a tad bit further as compared to the REP.Also the 10,20,30,etc counter in the subdials appear BOLDER.

I decided to get one today, I told myself to forget about the lever and button.....
The quality of this watch over rules the flaws!

So, here are some shots of my newest addition

YES it is wobbly....
As far as the lever is concerned, there seems to be two versions of the Gen...
The most current one seems to be updated. But no matter, as long as there is an
older version that looks just like mine!!!!

Not much we can do about the reset button shape....

I like the leather strap though.. looks better than the rubber.

The flaws on this are so tiny, im guessing this is the must have of 08. My Graham has got to be the most impressive rep in my collection. Of course as all reps, someone had to have a problem and i did. The chrono came DOA and stops at the 31 second marker everytime. I'm going to replace the movement. What a bummer. But the lume is so good that i forgot about the beat chrono! LOL
But even with that, this watch has got to be one of the closest to gen reps yet. The black trigger gen is tough to find, but there are many gen sites that show it.

Yes, it is harder to find.. but finding them is what convinced me to buy this watch. I have to agree, it is one of the best finished right out of the box. I wonder how much the original leather strap costs? Does anyone sell the box?

The older version GEN uses the same reset button as the rep :

Dammit! The Postal service tried to deliver my Graham today at the wrong zip code. I sent them notice to hold it so I can pick it up. What lamebrains they hire to entrust delivery of precious cargo. :x
