Guess from now on I gotta get qc showing watch running. Let me be perfectly clear, the watch sent to me most likely never ran and the damage could not have occurred during shipping.

Try to wind it for several minutes. Many of the watches are returned to repair are actually working or very easy to fix. This can happen during the shipment with any mechanical watch.

This sucks mate. And a pity to hear that from the maker we all considered having good qc.
Let me ask you, now that you had the watch opened and the movement looked into by a modder, will kw agree to fix/change it if you send it back?
Mine is on my dealer's hands, I'll ask him to check if it's running fine.

If he doesnt then i will have to buy a new movement. Toro it isnt a winding issues. The keyless was jacked up and ground into the set lever and the balance wheel was bent and broken. It cannot even be repaired at this point otherwise i would have at my cost.

I actually have sanankid's watch and I can tell you it never could have worked. The crown stem was jammed into the set gear and pushed into the set lever. The balance is also bent and off axis. Fyi this watch never ran. Very sloppy assembly.

Dude. Hate to hear this. Hopefully it gets sorted out quickly, but you can't help to wonder about the qc process.
