Got my bronzo today and of course the movement is broke :(

What should I do. The date set works and that is it. Does not run when I wind it and does not run when I shake the rotor. Sorta pissed because of the let down. Don't really want to return it to kW. Thoughts?

It could be something simple. On the bright side, servicing a non-chrono 7750 is easy and usually pretty inexpensive (around $100 in NY).

On the contrary, we have brilliant watchsmiths/modders onboard, Henio, NcChef to name just two. They are Conus and knowlegeable. I'd take a hit and sent my watch to them. You'd get top service all your monies worth. ( Not an advertisement whatsoever)

This sounds like the best option, I'm sure your movement will come back better than any other Bronzo out of the box.

I'd for sure let KW know but as others said and validated by looking at it. If the only flaw is the movement but all else is perfect, send it to a modder. Why risk getting a good movement but a cosmetic flaw?

No happy end here. The movement is ****** and kW sent me a broken watch. It cannot be repaired. Incredible. I guess this is the thanks I get....
