I think I would try taking a little off the face of the anchor protrusion and see if that allows the coronet roller to seat all the way down. Leave a lip on the top of it like the gen has.

KJ2020 Thanks for clearing this up. I did almost no research when I ordered the jubilee, I just knew ARF has a decent reputation when it comes to bracelets. We must have gotten one from a bad batch. QC on a bracelet is a must from now on lol

Mine closes and opens much too easily. I'm going to start looking for a replacement clasp once the holiday shipping craziness winds up. Any preference with respect to other factories jubilee clasps out there that I could do a swap for? According to my TD, all the ARF clasps are coming like this now, so an ARF replacement might not help. Maybe by January, that'll change though.

Impossible to know for sure bro. I have half a dozen or more various jubilee bracelets and there is not a lot of consistency between them, even comparing 5 digit to 5 digit or 6 to 6.

Sometimes the screws are on opposite sides, sometimes the link widths are different so one link's outers won't fit another links inners, etc. Sometimes the link heights or lengths vary. It's crazy. You could consider a different clasp, for a DJ maybe an Oyster lock clasp or even a fliplock would be better than a thorny crown. Otherwise you may need to just source a whole new super jubilee bracelet from BP or GMF.

I was just working on one of these. Had to shave some off the outers to fit the clasp connecting link inner. Need a bracelet puller tool to do it easily and without damage.

KJ2020 id like to see that thing in action.

While looking at this jubilee I figured about a millimeter needs to come off of this surface I have marked in yellow. That should make the coronet close to being flush with the inner links.

Your coronet link looks like it's modeled after the gen that I pictured previously, if that's a square hole in the underside. Before you do any filing, I would evaluate the effects of bending both of the clasp bayonets. If you flatten the wider one it makes it longer, increasing its curve makes it shorter with respect to the other one. Bending the narrow one also changes its effective length and the positional relationship between the square hole and the anchor protrusion. See if bending either improves the functionality.

After observing the clasp for 5 minutes, I found a solution for making loose ARF clasp close tighter.

Simply bend the middle curvature of this part to the direction of the arrow, using your hands (and don't use a crazy amount of force to do it). Bending this part makes the clasp close under more tension.

If it's still loose, try again. It works for me, although this method does not solve the issue of the loose crown sticking out.

That’s my v1 bracelet vs my gf v2 bracelet. She takes a fucking good clasp. Crown is sitting and pushing on bracelet when clasp is closed. Damn good
