Very familiar with Six Feet Under, they have made the leap to semi-mainstream as death metal goes. There are a lot of very obscure bands in this genre that are outstanding. It truly is an acquired taste though. It never ceases to amaze the kids I work with that I listen to the music that I do, because I am not the stereotypical death metal fan. Don't get me wrong, my listening tastes are very diverse, but they do run to extremes! Opera to Skeletonwitch.

I do not listen to rap or modern country. I do like some of the classic country such as Hank Williams and Patsy Cline, but I have to be in the mood. Right now I have been listening to Throw Rag, Nailbomb, Monster Magnet, Marilyn Manson and believe it or not, Mozarts Der Holle Rache from the opera Die Zauberflote among others.. These are part of a play list that I put on my computer before I go to sleep while I am offshore. I change it up every few days.

Oh man, I thought I knew a lot of artists. Only familiar name in there was Marlyn Manson
