Morning all! I'll be working all day. Counting down the hours until date night with the wife. We're going to this really fancy joint. I think it's called Pizza Hut. [MENTION=100114]Jeane123[/MENTION], have fun at the home opener bud. I was supposed to go to the Dallas Stars home opener with our friends that are season ticket holders as part of our wedding present but they had to back out because one of our friends had to go to India for two weeks! Bummer! However, we'll still take a 3-0 victory over the Penguins! It's going to be a BIG Stars year(I hope)

Doc secretly I also root for the stars. They used to be up here you know. I am super excited that the wild is doing pretty well so far and I think they may have a winning team this year if they can just get over that "Blackhawk curse"

I figured as much. I see just as much North Stars gear at the games as Dallas Stars gear.
Evening here in the UK. Time to sit down. Dinner in the oven and we're on gin and Coke tonight [emoji4] end of a long day

I'm more of a single malt scotch guy, but wifey likes gin. Try it with Coke, it's like citrus Coke from a few years back, not the best, but not bad.
Well blow me. It took being humiliated by being the first hosting nation to be knocked out in group stages for England to pick up their game. That was a cracking win. I know Uruguay are pretty useless at it, but that was a great bit of rugby by England!! Too late though boys
Well chaps, it's now after midnight which means we officially have a teenager!! Our eldest is now 13. Gonna have a great day tomorrow to celebrate. I totally can't believe how quick it's gone. Time to get my head down before a long and busy day
Evening boys. Spent the entire day fishing and kayaking. Caught about a dozen fish but nothing too big.

Barth, congrats on stepping into the teenage life. Parenting has officially gone into hyperdrive as my siblings that have teenagers have told me. I'm sure I will find out one of these days. Good luck to you sir.
USA! USA! Man, I played tight end prop for 5 years from high school, through college(University as yall say it across the pond) Our highschool program is now continually ranked #1 in Texas. Very proud of the boys. We always play our "old bones vs young guns" Alumni match every April. They youngsters have yet to bet us. Though, it's amazing how much faster they look the older I get.
