It's the bracelet of the 39,5 LMPO which you listed a couple of pics agoTbh, I can’t even remember that bracelet or where does the pic come from
As of today, there are at least 3 SMP top tiers factories: VSF, ORF and ZF (in order of appearance on the rep market).Do you see any obvious points that are different than gen?
Hi and welcome! And, last but not least, thumbs up for having done some of your homeworks before pulling the trigger on a such amazing watchAfter looking around and trying to decipher all available info (still got so much to learn) I've also gone with trusty and ordered a: Seamaster 300m 2019 RG/SS Black VSF Asia 8800
Hi!Good buy!
I am in the exact same situation as you after being sucked into the world of reps. After looking around and trying to decipher all available info (still got so much to learn) I've also gone with trusty and ordered a: Seamaster 300m 2019 RG/SS Black VSF Asia 8800
Looking forward to it!
Just posted the QC's and will definitely post some pics once I have it!I own a gen blue one but I am thinking of buying white dial one as a daily beater. Can you post some photos of yours? Do you see any obvious points that are different than gen?
It's a pleasureAlso, BIG thanks to @Route66!
If I'm ever in your neighbourhood, first few rounds are on me!
1) on pics #1 and 3 it may seem that there there is lume spill on the lower left side of the right twelve marker.Upon closer inspection, this is what I see (when compared to gen):
- Double stripes on dial at 12h seem kinda "off" (especially the right stripe, white looks "thicker"), but could be the lighting?
Seems a bit better in other pics.- Logo on back doesn't really match up with gen (should be a bit "thicker")
- Crown has a blue shine, but should be (could be protection?)
- Back of case not lined up: "Diver 300M" should line up with 12h position.
Probably easily fixed?

I can't say no to a free, cold beer
1) on pics #1 and 3 it may seem that there there is lume spill on the lower left side of the right twelve marker.
But I can't see it on pic #2, so I assume it's a glare?
2) Which logo do you mean? The omega one engraved on the lug?
3) yes, it's a thin protective foil
4) only gen watches with NAIAD lock (i.e. NTTD) have this feature. On their rep's, there's a ploy to obtain such result without an actual NAIAD lock.
Otherwise, on SMP's with regular screw-down case-back like your one, alignment is not guaranteed even on gen's.
When you will have the watch in your hands, you will be surprised by how actually small that logo isAbout the logo: the circular one on the backside where the wristband joins the casing (see the "Stainless steel" engraving: same placement, but other side). (Doesn't really matter though, just something I noticed in comparing with gen picks.)
If you refer to the hour hand, yes: hand is short and the two radial lume lines are definitely thin (so don't expect an outstanding lume over there).Additional question: what do you think of the lume on the small hand? Seems less white than all the other lume, but could be because it's such a fine line?
Cool! Thanks for the input! When you will have the watch in your hands, you will be surprised by how actually small that logo is
Something like a couple of mm's?

At the end, I don't see anything wrong about that hour hand.
This one is supposed to be gen (and I really think it actually is - I found the pic on the net).
Even when fully charged, its' hard to obtain such a crisp (and, most of all, long lasting) lume on the thin lines of a rep hour hand.

Be very careful with using the crown…. VERY careful. In fact, try to avoid using it as much as possible. Set the time and keep it on a watch winder if you can. The crown and tube assembly on almost all VSF watches with screw down crowns is rubbish. If you use the crown frequently it will 100% strip within months and become unuseable. I’ve had 3 VSF watches so this to me now….. no more VSF screw down crown watches for me now…. ever.I can't wait to get this watch on my wrist!

VSF are selling spare parts through the TD so you can get replacements - but it is the same rubbish....Thanks for the heads-up!
I’ll keep it in mind!
Presumably, those are replaceable with better hardware, no?
