Here is one of my QC pictures - I have GL this one. Overall I am medium impressed (SEL gap at 2, hour hand, DW) but I hope that it will not be that visible IRL. For the DW it was already given in the TD pictures.

That looks like a good sample to me bro. You may have some confirming evidence in other pics but from this pic I don't see the issues you mentioned.

The top right SEL has no gap, you are seeing recess.
Black hands reflect bright light in pinpoints, all of the white looking spots on the hour hand are likely just that.
The DW looks fine, its centered well enough. The shadow makes it look off vertically and the angle of view makes it appear left justified.

Are my eyes deceiving me?

Thanks for your opinion - well appreciated. I will share a picture where the SEL gap is visible. It is not huge, but worse than on my ARF 116710 LN, ARF Bluesy or BP Rootbeer.
Regarding the hour hand I agree that the white areas are reflections, but the quality of the black borders are not that good. On TD pics it looks better. I will share another pic for that issue as well.
Regarding the DW I was thinking that it is overmagnified, but not bold or misaligned. But you will most likely be right that it is fine.
Anyway, it is a GL and usually I don't see the flaws IRL.

VRF Oreo arrived in the end (after setting 16 days in Heathrow).
The points I have been unsure (hour hand plot, SEL gap) are completely fine IRL. Only the cyclops is a funny thing - seems to be the same as in the VRF Pepsi Max. Movement feels solid (my first VR) and the coating is nicely done. I really like it...

I’ve had the vrf yachtmaster and date just, both the coatings and movements felt great. How’s the lume on that? And the hands are all painted black right? How’s the quality ?

Here is another closer picture. I have not checked the lume in the dark as my watches are stored in a dark place.
The SEL gap I saw in the pictures was no gap but plastic foil around the SEL. I really don't know how they mounted the SEL with this foil around it because it is quite tight.
The bracelet was not feeling good upon arrival, but after some cleaning it is way better and acceptable.
