Hello, everyone. Here is Steve, as you all know, the long-awaited 3285 movement is finally released! It comes from the Dandong movement factory and is currently used exclusively by the Clean factory,

and the quality of the GMT Master II series from the clean factory has also long been recognized by everyone.

It is believed that equipped with the 3285 all-in-one movement, this model of Clean is bound to be another masterpiece in the rep industry.

so I'll take this opportunity to bring you a comparison between the genuine GMT Master II 126710blnr and the Clean. let's get to work and check the pictures.

1，Ceramic Bezel

There is no color difference between the black color, the blue is the key part. The factory claims the GEN blue to be a little darker, but this is not obvious to check with the naked eye, the color of clean has been restored very good in fact.

The bezel also feels better than before when it rotates.


2，The triangle on the bezel is corrected

Clean has corrected the triangle to match the gen, and the three sharp corners are now clearly rounded.

3，Black an Blue Transitional Section

Genuine colors are blended with each other, showing a blurred visual effect, Clean also has a blurred effect, but the blurred area is not as large as the gen, so there will be a slight difference.

4，Hands

There is little difference in the overall appearance of the hands, but the Clean still have burrs on the side of the hand.

5，Middle Hands

The center axle adopts the same hollow cylindrical appearance as the Gen, which the factory says is probably due to the use of the new movement, making the seconds wheel more visible through the center column.

6，Luminous filling of the hands and makers

The surfaces all have the same frosted grainy feel consistent with the Gen, even accompanied by some black spots, which is a feature of every Rolex Luminous and not a defect.

7，Oil Font

8，Rehaut Part

The rehaut engraving has been upgraded with a very clear underline at the bottom of the font.

9，Case shape

This time the case shape has been revised and the curvature is better than before.

10，Engraving on both sides of the case at 12 and 6 o'clock

Factory claimed cnc engraving, identical to the original, not laser engraving

11，Lume

The lume colour is the same as the Gen article, But in the non-luminous will have a color difference, which is related to the version and oxidation.

12，Movement

Clean use exclusive Dangdong 3285 movement which power reserve can be 72 hours, is based on the VS3235 with the addition of GMT function. Its super clone movement.

I sold my old V2 CF Batgirl a month ago since I will either buy this or the VSF version. I’m waiting on VSF to compare the two factories’ attempts at making the best GMT rep at the moment, and pick one then.

Do you think it is worth upgrading from the prior Clean BLNR or is this release more for the people, who do not yet have a BLNR? I have mine modded with Gen-Crystal and a Platinum Mod and I am wondering if this release, leaving the movement aside, is such a big step justifing the spend?

There doesn't seem to be many large improvements other than the movement, bezel colour still isn't perfect, though cannon pinion and rehaut seem to have improved - nothing noticeable on wrist IMO. Other than the movement, I personally don't see the point upgrading especially if you already have modded your existing GMT.

That has always been my issue with the CF GMTs.
Did they finally improve the bezel spring?
I hope VSF is going to fix this at least..

Looks like a solid effort from CF. Without nitpicking, I think this is as good as you could hope for. Of course, I have not had one in hand so I cannot comment on build quaility or how the bezel feels, but damn, it looks like a BLNR!
