Makes sense! I have a clean 116710 ln on the way. Should have it next week. I service and repair vintage Seiko so this stuff is new for me. The Rolex gmt bezel design is interesting. Does the click ring (or whatever you call it) hold the crystal in place? Or does it just function as the click with no other use?The stock CF click spring doesnt contact the grooves of the retaining ring sufficiently so it only gives a gliding feedback when you turn the bezel
But the replacement spring will hug the grooves tighter and give the clicking feedback
It's hard to convey this observation in words. It's best you buy a CF and dismantle the crap bezel to see what is underneath lol
But you can also save yourself the trouble by directly getting a V5 GMF pepsi, they are very nice and have a good click spring
