Hey repfam,
Question, for those of you who have had the chance to handle either, what are your opinions on the GMF and CF bezel click action on the GMT-Master II?
Just some context, I had the GMF 116710 LN, which I loved, but the Sub No-Date was calling me and I answered - I am not a collector so I've sold the GMT to fund the No-Date. The bezel action on the GMF was excellent, like really good, it had very little play and a nice satisfying click - similar to GEN which I had an opportunity to handle so knew what to look for.
Recently, I also got my hands on a friends CF GMT-Master II Pepsi, which was a stunning piece, but the bezel action was terrible. Lots of play and no click - massive tell.
Is this normal variance in reps and I was lucky with my GMF - or is this a factory issues and the GMF is just superior to CF (as is my current view)?
I am looking to get a GMT-Master II Batman for my brother, and this is the deciding factor for me.
Thanks all!
