GMF Rolex Sub 114060 from BKLM

Horology Curious
It’s my first rep watch so I ordered my sub from BK a while ago and it just recently arrived. I waited a bit to wear it before posting a review.

He got the watch and did his thing replacing movement to the swiss ETA, precision realigning everything etc.

Wait for the watch was about 2 months but it didn’t really bother me. It finally arrived and it was shipped and packed and protected perfectly.

Watch performs perfectly. It gains about 2 seconds a day but that’s perfectly fine with me.

The watch winds perfectly. Even though it doesn’t have date I still have to pull the crown to third position to hack it and set time.

Bezel works smoothly and clicks nicely with a bit of give.

Lume is ok and even on all markers when exposed to sunlight enough.

It’s advertised as 904 stainless steel but I’m not sure if it actually is.

The watch is heavy enough but not as heavy as the real sub.

This is my first review, other ones will be better and more in depth.

Nice to see these pics and also the thumbs-up for BKLM (the TD).

Looks to be a splendid rep. So sensible too opting for a no-date Sub. It's really just a modern interpretation of the Rolex 5513 and no date / no cyclops means nothing detracts from that beautiful dial.

You mentioned the weight of the GMF 114060. If it helps, gen. Subs are not heavy watches. To be accurate, your rep. with a full length bracelet should weigh in at about 155 grams . That can be as much as 70 grams less than many of the big hefty (non-Rolex) divers many of us enjoy wearing. Oddly enough, some of the quite humble micro-brand divers have the most heft on the wrist. If you regularly get into bar fights, it's an Aragon or Borealis that you really want on your wrist :)

Nice watch Sir and thanks for posting. Enjoy ☺️
