I had packages from England .... some I paid customs fees .... without being warned .... why? can you tell me? or is this bullshit too???

You must be mistaken. Within the EU there is freedom of movement of goods, services, capital and people.

You don’t declare the value of parcels sent within the EU for customs purposes so how on earth would they know whether tax had been paid?

You will pay tax in the U.K.: the EU member state from which you purchase the item at the point of sale. Because the U.K. is within a customs union you will then not pay import taxes in Italy.

Here is the link to the EU Commision' Customs and VAT rules: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_custom...in-eu-union_en

Customs duties

There are no customs duties to be paid when buying goods coming from within the European Union.

Here is the link to the Italian customs making clear that import tax is only payable from non-EU countries: https://www.agenziadoganemonopoli.gov.it/portale/dogane/cittadino/acquisti-su-internet
Oltre il prezzo di acquisto l’acquirente, nel caso di merce proveniente da Paesi non appartenenti all’UE (es. Cina) può essere tenuto al pagamento di dazi, IVA.

Exactly as Trailboss just said, the reason dealers use Triangle shipping for difficult EU destinations is because when the package is sent on its second leg there are no customs checks for deliveries within the EU. If there were customs checks then they would just ship it direct!

I appreciate we are behind a language barrier, but I am saying:
There are no customs checks between EU member states - and the fact triangle shipping exists is my evidence.

Have you got any evidence of any parcel with a rep watch in it sent between two EU member states ever being seized by customs?

For counterfeit goods the Triangle shipping is safer than a direct delivery, still does not mean the Triangle is 100% safe.
Thankfully yet I haven't got the case where Customs seized such package but there were ppl reported a seizure even when Triangle shipping was used. I don't remember was it here or RWG or RG.
I just PMed you a sample packages where customs checks between EU member states were done.

K4jun has sent me some images of a parcel which indeed passed through a tracking point saying "released by customs".

In the UK, which is what we are talking about, Border Force (not customs) can inspect packages for contraband - that's drugs, weapons, pornography. Watches are not a prohibited item in the UK.

Also: OP's package was not stopped by customs. It is missing. Packages stopped by customs show "stopped by customs" on the tracking and the recipient gets a scary letter.

I know due to the economy the Italian Authorities are a bitch and are very keen on putting a hand on any cent they can get from the people/companies.
If you indeed paid any fee for the delivery from UK - they screw you up as there is no legal basis for such liability. You can claim it back if the amount was substantial and was worth the effort of making the tax claim(?).

Yeah, that's most likely the case. I bet GLS told "it's with customs" cause they just don't have idea where the package is. It will be interesting to hear what GLS will tell to JD.

And tell me, if you have no financial problems why don't you pay the full amount to the guy and them.sort out any remaining paperwork with GLS yourself? Wouldn't that be better than throwing your whole reputation down the toilet like you are doing now?

I find it hard to understand what are you gaining from all this, in the end. You are already under no sale, so how do you expect anyone to do business with you after this?

With the customs its a standard sticker every package from EU has it here in Germany the packages go through customs they see "ok its from EU" they make a sticker with "custom approved" or stuff like above. Ofcourse when they searching for drugs or money and they opening your package and they foud your counterfit watch then its over...

What, duty? It is illegal for an EU state to charge import duty on an item sent from another EU state.
