Yes, but the Girl Scouts here go by the original moniker of Girl Guides as Lady Baden Powell intended. If they wanna be Scouts they join a normal Scout troop with the boys.

Also, we don't go in for the sugary ones like the Yanks. Ours are a plain yet delicious slightly malty shortbread biscuit (cookie to you, not the scone style of thing you guys call a biscuit). Much better for you and cheaper for the GGs to buy. The idea after all is to raise funds, not increase waistlines.

Dude, I live 20km from (a small) town and have a 600 yard long driveway. We don't see too many Girl Guide biscuit sellers

Wow, you guys can stay active in Scouting until age 26, Col. Congrats on your achievement.

Here in The Colonies they may join a Crew but have to become an adult leader at age 21 or drop out of Scouting.

Ooooooo..... I love Samoas.....

We always buy - multiple boxes from every girl who asks us.
My wife has many single downtown high-rise dwellers who'll gladly accept a few boxes, and she does consulting work with a few charities which are grateful for them as well.

But as you can see from the recent GTG pics, I manage to keep a box or two for myself.

i have never seen annyone selling cookies lol XD i bet they dont do that in sweden , i know schools sometimes had to sell to their parents becuse of the stupid rule that parents are not allowed to just give the school cash to take the kids to other countrys so they have to sell cakes for 100$ each lol and some parents bought a bunch becuse they wanted them to go so hilarious
