Hi everyone,

New to the rep world. I have looked in the recommended dealers but have not been able to find a v6f santos XL (38mm) in rose gold (can be only bezel or completely rose gold) with brown leather strap. This seems to only be sold for 2018. However, from what Ive read, the proprietary mechanism of the strap makes it impossible to buy a custom real alligator strap.

Can someone chim in on this? Is the model Im looking for non existent?

Trying to choose between a mid-size and a large in this model has been the hardest decision ever in the rep game for me so far. Both look so good even on my smaller wrists.

From what I can see the GF midsize Santos appears to be great, I can't really see any flaws (even the screws on the gen are deliberately misaligned!). I suppose the biggest tell is the sapphire cabuchon but that doesn't affect me. Next on my list....

I was in an AD and looked at the midsize. The differences I could see to the GF were:
- Bezel screws sat very slightly lower in the GF than the gen
- There's a small gap between the clasp and the bracelet when closed on the GF, that wasn't the case on the gen.

Overall, it was very close and I'm happy with the GF, it's getting a good share of wrist time

Received my GF Santos size M, and I have to say it's surpassed my expectations.

The fit, feel and quality of finish are great. The bracelet is solid, the easylink and quick change work really well.

All in all its stunning, in my humble view, this is my very first rep, there is no question/ doubt that this is a super rep.

I'm curious how is the rotor sound of the miyota? I've read that some say it is a bit loud? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Don't do it unless you do a waterproof check with a watchmaker. It will leak water inside, most likely.

How is the polished bevel on the GF? It looks kind of rounded and washed out compared to the KOR? Or is that just the camera angle/lighting?
