I have 2 concerns though

Blue dial tone might be wrong in which case I will switch to black

Also, I think there is a lack of AR compared to gen. It's been the case for the many releases from GF lately

Avenger blackbird, Avenger GMT also lack AR

Last thing I don't understand, why is TT the only dealer to advertise those recent Breitling reps?

Lack of AR is a shame and you are right, there's reflection on all GF Breitling reps (I think colt is slightly better).

I think TT has a special arrangement with GF that gives them an exclusive contract with these new reps.

Inside lighting doesnt quite give the same impression as the lighting you get outside in real life conditions.

I really wish GF would improve on AR coating and engravings. All their engravings suck umfortunately

GF is really doing a good jon with these reps I only hope they will also put some effort in the pearl, because you can spot the pearl difference from far away.

I totally agree on the pearl with the avenger series. The colt in my opion is spot on compared to the avenger series. The engravings and pearl are hands down better. One reason I sold my seawolf 2

It's frustrating that this color has been so hard to rep for Breitling fans.

I might have to cancel and switch to black. I'll wait for my QC just in case those QC pics do not reflect what the real watch looks like

Other than that, numbers on the dial do not seem very accurate. Neither does the Breitling logo

Sibdials seem too silver and minite and hour hand feel a bit cheap

Is it just me who is getting too used to the perfection of gens? What do you guys think?

I believe you mean the Rep is above and Gen is below.

The thing thats wrong with the Pearl is that on the reps its flat, it needs to be domed like the Gen to be correct.

The rep blue is wrong but it is better looking than the gen blue.

Yeah the rep blue is actually quite nice, i will probably buy one of these reps eventually if they make a v2 or v3 with a domed pearl and good AR at the very least; plus better engravings and good lume would be nice too.

This is unfortunate, but maybe this blue looks different in indoor vs natural light. Also, it looks like the chorno hand is not aligned to "zero" and the six o clock subdial has reset issues. Guys be careful with your QC pics.

If one really wants this watch, then black appears to be a safer choice. Please let us know when you receive your QC pics.

I have been looking at this cheono and maybe it is me but bezel engravings look better then the wolf 2. Maybe it's just me.

Mate, I would go with black. Knowing you I think you'd always be looking down at it and not be happy. Alternatively get both and flip one of them. They'll move easily at minimal cost to you, but worth it to get the right one.

I remember selling my blue steelfish, blue chronomat evolution and my noob smurf because I was obsessed with the color being off

Blue tone of the latest colt seems very accurate though. I am keepingmy blue A23322 which is not too bad

Damn they better not mess up the blue tone of the SOH2

Good choice mate, I'll believe they can get the SOH2 blue right when I see it, that's a really tough one to get the full range of colours as per the gen. Just received my blue GMT on bracelet 30 mins ago, so will post pics later, but first impressions are that it is superb.
