GF Avenger 2 Chrono A13381

Folks, saw this earlier today at trusty time's website. A new offering from GF factory in a bunch of colors. This is 43mm Avenger 2 Chrono ( I believe this model was released in 2014), perfect for folks who can't wear 45mm versions. I am not sure what to make of this new release from GF. It appears to be made well, just like their other watches.

Couple of other oberservations. Lume on the pearl is not the greatest (hopefully it's just the TD pic) and the caseback engraving is not crisp.

GF are really on the money with their Breitlings and hard to find much wrong with this one. I've made the GF boss aware of our super reps list and how getting on it is good for business so lets hope he keeps churning out these beauties.

Main differences I see having had a closer look are that the font on the sub dials seems a bit thicker on the rep, the numbers on the rehaut are further away from the dial than gen and the minute indices are too long and wrong where the date window meets them. As usual the bezel numbers and markings aren't as sharp but that's to be expected and they ain't bad. All in all a nice looking rep and none of the above is a reason not to buy imho

Date font also looks slightly different...looks the same as the 2nd batch of the gmt

I think the datefont on this is OK, as its pretty close to the font used on all the other Avengers apart from the GMT and Blackbird. The 2 in the pic of the rep is squashed to accommodate the 8, so when its in 12 format it will be pretty close to gen when the 2 is shown in 12 format on the rep.

I have 2 concerns though

Blue dial tone might be wrong in which case I will switch to black

Also, I think there is a lack of AR compared to gen. It's been the case for the many releases from GF lately

Avenger blackbird, Avenger GMT also lack AR

Last thing I don't understand, why is TT the only dealer to advertise those recent Breitling reps?

The blue dial one shows a 7750 movement with a chrono subdial hand at 6 that does not reset

Not the first time with GF reps either
