I have a different method that's more complex but you get the same result. I've actually had to manufacture tooling pieces to get this pin finish.

Thank you. Perfect thread. It reminds me the times I modded my first mbw 1665. (Crownguardmod, new tube thrill etc.). Luckily I got a second crown guard of a 111 noob case. I will try it with a very fine Iron filings.

I will post the result. Thanks for the Tutorium.

greetings,

I wanted to try to mod my cg pin on my pam 390. Recently bought it last month. Bought the tools last week.
Finally I tried to remove the CG pin using the blue color tool described in this thread. It was so tough like cemented from inside. I forced it until the small screw bent/broken but still the cg pin still stuck there not even moving an inch or millimeter. Once i used the iphone sim card pin opener. Forced it again and it ended up stabbing my finger deeply but the cg pin still there not moving. Does Noob really cemented/glued the CG pin (especially on recent NOOB PAM 390) Anyone purchased the recent Noob Pam 390 can take off their CG Pin?

For the sandpaper what is the require specification to shape the CG pin/flush it?

Thanks

Cheers

Maybe glued/waxed or simply a bit hard to push out. I prefer these tools:
