Guys I wanted to share with you a quick photo comparison of my gen 000 and my rep 000 that I just finished making on Monday. I'll go in depth at a later time with better photos of the actual case and its dimensions. But from my experience the standard rep case from the cartel is amazing. The edges are a touch rounded on the rep but unless you are looking for it you will never know the difference.

Anyway here are some photos to see what I'm talking about. I think the rep is very good as I took the Ted Su off it it and put it back on the rep thinking it was the gen lol. :D

The 'flaws' are there but when looking at the watch as a whole and on the wrist its virtually indistinguishable. We can talk about the thickness of the lume, wrong As or Rs, logo is more bold, the crown looks thinner, ETC. Our dealers provide us with awesome reps and with a little work they can be pretty damn good.

One thing I did notice though is that the rep cartel crown I have has 50 teeth. The dimensions are the same as the gen but has 54 teeth. The rep cartel crown I have just has a more pronounced bevel on the teeth which makes it reflect as looking smaller.

I'm buying a condo in SoCal just so I can outbid you for every piece that the local crew is thinking of selling.

i see that when stacking one watch on another, the rep case has a more flat shape while the gen one is more curving upward, may i know is that the case or it just the angle of the pic? if that's the case, seems it can be easily told.

I challenge ANYONE to call out the curve of the case when the watch is one someone else's wrist.

The bigger tell on the case is the shorter, stubbier lugs, IMO. Even that would be hard to tell without stacking them one on the other like Jay did in his pic. Believe me, the case inaccuracies are the least of the issues.

i guess if we want to call a rep an ultimate version or really close to the gen, there should not be any difference between the gen and the rep just by looking at pics. I see many other members did alot to those areas and really appreciate the effort put into it. (such as the recessed date wheel and date font, CG and CG pin) shall we also try to look for a closer case to make it more perfect?

You can certainly look, and there are some Jimmy Fu cases still floating around here and there that ARE better than the "normal" rep cases, but that's about it.

For now, anyway. There are rumors of better, more accurate cases on the horizon, but they aren't available yet.

Looks like the angle of the photo to me. We need to have Jaykeem post up another one with the camera level between the 2 cases.

Come on guys, anyone who knows Jaykeem knows it's all about the thrill of the hunt. Once the rep 000 was finished it had one case lug out the door and the arrival of the gen 000 sealed the deal.

He just got his gen 000 2 days ago, I just got a text message that he is thinking about picking up a gen 213 at the AD. Anybody interested in a lightly used 000?
