The Sd4K doesnt suffer from the same dull bezel numbers as the v7 Sub. Its not as bright as gen but definitely not dark like the v7 subs. This is a great out of the box rep without requiring any mods imho. Doesnt have cyclops either so removes the requirement for the black hole effect like on the subs.

My God this is a conundrum, I spent ages trying to come up with the right movement and you’ve blown me out of the water, how the hell are we supposed to make the right decision in this Topsy Turvey Rep,world, I thought I did good with the 3135??
The 3135 is the clone version of the gen movement and must be serviced as soon as possible to avoid reliability issues. Once that's taken care of its going to be fine. Also worth noting that the 2824 is a super reliable movement out of the box but does not operate like gen.
Hence the 3135 is considered super rep out of the box.
If you don't care about movement so much then get the 2824.

I read that you can spin the crystal (to align the LEC at 6) using a sticky ball.
Ps. Here is my old noob SD4k v1.5, A3135 (basically a v2 with incorrect fat hour hands)

Even at GEN’s the crown is often misaligned
Accept it. As the post above said gens LEC are never perfectly at 6 either. You can hardly see it anyway so this is a non issue.

Honestly this is a super rep. Who on earth is going to take off their watch and give it to someone and that person is going to say "hangon your hands turn the wrong way when the crown turns". LOL
The stem height is also not noticeable unless you are a fellow geek on these forums that know the intricate details of the watch. 99.9% wont know and the quality of this piece no1 will second guess it. Its a super rep for sure.
