Only apply very little pressure or you will f uck up the keyless! Don't wana have to remove the dial!!!

I already chicken out and put it gently back in;) all is smooth but will practice my skills on something cheaper;) thanks all for help guys you've been amazing!!!

You can do it mate, just take your time, give it a blast with a hair dryer or a lighter in the bit where the thread connects (for a split second) and hold the stem with pliers gently and unscrew the crown counterclockwise, use a magnifying glass or loupe to assess the task and go slow, you'll do it :)

Believe me mate the heart is there! Just not very capable of doing it for next 3 weeks;) not as easy with one hand;))

Make sure to not put any diagonal force on the stem as the turning force needs to be directly on the connecting threads as this will also likely cause the stem to snap

Lots of precious information here, specially the bit with heating it for just 1 second only with a flame and not at the top of the crown itself. Still didn´t change crowns (1 Athaya/ 1 Gen/ 1 PAM) myself, always have this "broken stem and no replacement at home" view in the back of the mind or "spoiling a mechanically sound watch". Must have another go at it soon.
