This is a great review for some reasons:
- Due the good comparative pics, we can see without doubts the real differences with the gen. No many place for speculations or interpretations
- We can get an evaluation of this rep, even adapted to the taste of the buyer
- Buyers can decide about their purchases seeing the real flaws in order to decide if they can o cannot live with them
- Evora pics can be used for the comparison with ZFac and SF reps
- Makers can take info enough to improve these reps

Yes I think you're right. I'm glad you mentioned the SF version because I had not seen it before. The font colors do look better. ZF looks a little too yellow.

The SF version is the first evaluation of this model, SF605 has been released months before KW, as You can see dial is absolutely plain without any sunburst effect.
The only 605 which can be considered as a high quality rep of 605 is ZF and so so KW605. Best option so far is ZF605, personally I don't think Noob is going to release anytime soon in this matter..
from my observation ZF is now striking markets with new high grade reps, especially IWC.

Sunburts effect are very hard to tell how good they are just by looking at some pics.
SF=no sunburst dial=NO GO
However I also dislike the yelowish printings on ZF "ala KW".
uhmmmm...may be a ZF superclone movement with a paint mod.

I guess Evora ruined our 605 experience with those side by side comparatives :cry2:

Can't agree. The sunburst effect in different light conditions may vary but I simply can not agree with You under term of "yelowish printings"

I will order te ZF to make the comparison too. Probably mid November, I will be on vacation in Jamaica, I'll have all the time to make the review gen VS ZF.

I have other gens that I can use to make "VS review", but I can't buy all these reps to make a comparison and most of them are already reviewed. Some of my gens are not yet (well) repped.

Great review! I compared my rep kW 605 with a business partners gen and I was so disappointed that I sold it on M2m the next day! Hope they nail it soon

Damn, that gen looks unreal. I agree though, the rep strap is a nicer shade of grey for this watch. Very unique. Either way, the rep is very nice and should get just as many compliments!

Not a problem, but these are two really different watches, so I don't think a comparison will help in anyway.

- PAM176 is a Luminor, ti case, sandwich dial, manual movement
- PAM356 is a chrono, "complicated" dial (3 subdials, long chrono sec hand, date), sausage dial, not the same lume tint, brushed SS case...

No way to make a comparison review... And if you look for gen vs gen pics, search on gen forums, you'll find with no doubt.

My review here is just to help members to make their mind about rep accuracy/quality vs the same gen watch. A gen vs gen review is a bit useless on a rep forums
