Don't know anything about rep Datejust's so better ask everything looks gen to me though.

3235 so makes that awful whirling sound like the ETA clones when shaking.

Clasp code didn't bring up anything also gold colour looks good.

I say this is a GEN. The Wimbledon dial is one of the hardest DJ dials to rep properly because you need to get the shade, color, shapes all right. The dial on this watch looks perfectly GEN to me.

But to be 100% sure your best bet is to open the movement and check if the balance is free sprung or not.

I don’t know what I’m talking about but it looks very genuine to me.

Thanks everybody for the help.

Backstory is a guy I know got this from Russia from a relative who owed him 13k. He couldn’t transfer money by bank so sent the watch instead. The guy who got this deals also with high end watches mainly buying cheap from Russia and selling on chrono24 all gens and legitamte dealer. I had my doubts so I posted it here.

From Russia you can get them really cheap even around 6700 eur for ceramic sub. Some pawn shops there operate with fixed margins so when a guy gives them a sub and asks 6000 they dont care about the retail value just add their couple of hundred on top and sell it and watches are gen so they make nice profits.

This is my second Russia related thread so if someones wondering whats up with that I’m from Estonia we share a border with them.

The Gen wimbledon will have thicker, rounder lettering for the indices, which looks evident here. GMF tends to be flatter.

Closer pics of crystal height/rehaut would also help.

This looks gen to me and the photos are good quality. The only reps close enough to gen to pass muster are VSF or ARF and they have their respective tells that I can't see evident here. Either an excellent franken or a gen. Not sure where you are based, or I'd offer to open it up for you to verify the movement. :)

The RG colour doesn't make sense though. Everytime I see a Rolex RG the pink is evident. I'm not seeing it in these pics.

On Chrono pics it shows.

The ambient light makes an enormous difference. Example:

Not much pink hue in this 100% gen day date photo.

Looks gen to me due to the crystal (especally the edge of the cyclops), quality of rehaut and quality of the hands.

Look at that sunburst - and if this dial was a rep, the rays of the sunburst would most likely be more curved. Gen Rolex dials sunburst in very straight lines like you see in the pics posted. I can’t tell with the rest of the watch for sure but looks gen.

I know this might not mean anything other than the bracelet is gen, but with two tone bracelet, look at the midlinks and see if you can see and feel they’re real gold or plated.
