my brother gifted me his OM a couple of years ago on a seiko rubber. I want to get a steel bracelet for it. Do you think I should go for the original one, it's only $40 or so and it's supposed to be great

My OEM rubber is still BNIP. I dislike the feel of it, pretty uncomfortable from what everyone is saying. Jason is hooking you up, so that's cool. The SS bracelet is very comfortable. My wife has actually been on my azz the last few days to let her wear it. Of course I said hell no lol.
Strapcode has some good straps; SS, NATO, etc., I am waiting on a reissue turtle to see if I can live with the SS bracelet, as I've heard mixed feedback on it.

The re-issue turtle bracelet is great.
The re issue turtle rubber strap is also light years ahead of the old z20 and z22 rubber straps

I have strap code bracelets on my OM 007 and baby tuna.
