The Moser Monard could possibly be my favorite watch . The case is beautifully sculpted in Platinum . The dial is Ruthenium, a rich deep grey which in my experience cannot be duplicated with any other material.
The movement was created by Andreus Strehler, the creator of the Harry Winston Opus 7. It is a stunning low beat movement with 7 days PR and hand winding. Twin barrels running on screwed gold Chatons ( Tutonic style) provide the power.Timing is by Free sprung balance. Moser are one of the very few houses who produce their own balance springs.

The case is quite thick but I like that. Never measured my wrist but I always remove One link from a submariner if that helps.
