I have a Gen Speedmaster (moon watch) that I bought back in 2007. I never bring it in for service. I finally decided to bring it to theAD and they said it going to cost me around $750 USD. Are there any cheaper place that I can trust for cheaper?

Try an Omega boutique. ADs always put a little on top so likely to be more expensive. I went to AD recently to have a link removed from my breitling and they wanted to charge me $50. Instead I took it to a breitling store and they did it for free even though it's not under warranty. ADs aren't the best option IMHO.

The Omega boutique will probably send it to their repair center for a preset fee. On my Seamaster a service is $500 but it's different depending on models.

The AD will either send it to the same exact repair center and charge you more money or they will do it themselves.

my omega boutique store resized my band, and even changed my nato strap Both times it was free, AND they offered orange juice or champagne ;)
