Gen crystal on Noob Pam 111

Has anyone here tried to make their PAM water resistant? I recently got a 438 with a view to getting the real watch eventually. Needless to say catastrophic failure occurred with most of the air escaping through sapphire and a little through the crown. Wanting to either get an original crystal or aftermarket that is a better fit. Ar a must too as I can see nothing in my Breitling, but the entire world in the PAM. Anyone know if there is a blue hue on the Panerai glass?

There has been several colors used in the AR over the years at Panerai. Blue, Purple, light yellow, Clear, ---

I'm also wandering about DSN. It has been posted here that some members have been disappointed with his current crystals.

I've never seen the price of a Gen. crystal. My 3 year old Noob 111 is terrible and somewhat cloudy at many angles.
AR cannot improve the quality of the sapphire itself. And more than one crystal has been found that is a sandwich, or two layers stacked together. This caused a reflection between the two layers. No AR can correct that!
