To my knowledge, this is a rep, in which case this is most definitely not real gold as you thought. The reason I believe this is a rep was due to the pearl, and the "Swiss Made" at the bottom of watch (6 marker). The "made" part seems to be unreadable and doesn't look as if it says made.

Anyways, still a nice looking watch, enjoy it!

Take a link completly off the bracelet and post a side profile image, we'll be able to tell if it is gen or rep.

The link should not be hollow but folded.

Plus, if it is gen, those links are full gold and not plated or wraped.

Looking forward to that pic of the link.

Rolex swapped the" swiss T>25"for "swiss made" post 2000 not exactly sure when. Obvoiusly we cant speak for the weight, but that bezel pearl is terrible.

yeah its say swiss t25 guys this is a old one they have lugs on the case

and i know its real gold cuz i take it to a jewelry and i ask if its a real rolex?

and hes answer is i dont really know if its a real rolex they looks genuine for me but im very sure this is real gold

and.. i do some scratch in the bracelet and theres no steel color

and when i swaap the bezel insert i scratch the case accidentally and the scratch are gold

i dont really know if its gen or rep but looks cool

Not so sure man,

I am baffled that IF this is a rep, it could not be real gold, thats just counter-productive for the creator that made this replica..but I don't know, you said your local jeweler said so, so I'm stuck here...

The GENS of this model go upwards of 20K on eBay, so I could not see how a REP would use real gold.

It's impossible to say until you post better picture of the dial.

The bezel insert is aftermarket, that's for sure.
