Frankening the 508 and 243

Beauty. It the 508 looks great and the little differences make all the difference. Same on the 243 I’m sure but the bezel looked very good.

That’s the first side by side rep/gen and it makes it very easy to know what to look for.

Let me know if you need to find another good home for the no longer in use rep 243 bezel. I have an older model HFac with 120 clicks and I wonder if I could get it to work on it....

subtle differences, overall you can see the greater quality and finishing of gen, lume pip, text crispness on markers.

Congrats superspark69 on these nice comparison pics and fantastic job.

It is impressive to see the differences between gen-rep on 508. But it I also impressive how the gen bezel fits directly the rep case.

In PAM 243 the differences are not so obvious but they are also evident. You have made a very good job with the adaptation.

It is a shame there are no awards currently in the forum, because you deserve one.

I will include this link in the PAM GUIDE in the next updating. Maybe we have to reconsider the evaluations of 508 reps, seeing the bezel differences.
Because I assume that the bezel of VSF is the same as the bezel used previously in KW-V6Fac reps. Even VSF bezel could be a slightly improved version.

It is quite obvious when side to side on both, more so on the 508 as you said. The 508 is such a great rep and quality of manufacturing is brilliant, the gen bezel really turns it up to the highest level I believe.
