i'm working at the same project right now. What the people her dont mentioned is, that you will build a vintage DD 18xxx! Thats what is so unique on this because you cant find any vintage cases anymore sadly. You will need a dial that will fit the eta movement you got. (Raffle is the way to go here i think)

On my project it is just puting a eta and dial in a new case. But as i said its about the vintage case!!

No, most of us are aware the issues that this build will have. It's not based on a 5 digit DayDate, it's actually an homage of a 4 digit. There are slight differences between the Super Seville models over the years.

Unforuntately, the case is the biggest issue. It's too bulky to be a proper Rolex Day Date, though the lugs and fluted bezel are nice.

Crown/tube, dial, case back, bracelet/clasp, end links, day and date wheels, hands, crystal are what need to be changed. This is assuming it's an automatic. If it's quartz, it goes even deeper.
