Back on sale is this 1680 I had sold here a few weeks ago and that I exchanged because of a date alignment issue..
I improved it by swapping the crystal for a Sternkreuz and changing the movement (a tooth of the datewheel was broken).
I've gently aged the case as well as the dial and hands, and bleached the bezel until it acquired a lovely purple tropical tint.
Dial and hands were aged using watercolours
In short, I aged it to give it the look of a 40 year old watch that's been worn without abuse.
The watch is not perfect, but looks nicer than the sum of its parts and is affordable and reliable.
I will consider prospective buyers in order of messaging.
