For those of you that have ordered from Steve in the past month or so, how long did it take for your tracking to start updating?

I placed an order with Steve almost 2 weeks ago, and he sent me 2 USPS tracking numbers (for 1 watch) about a week ago.

Both show "label created" with no movement. I was wondering how long it usually takes for the tracking numbers to start updating?

Did you ask why you got two?
They’ve had a holiday and it’s the weekend now, one week doesn’t sound that unreasonable.

He actually sent me 1, but the picture of the shipping label in the same email showed a different tracking number. Both are going from IL to my state.

I received tracking on 1 5-23, it didn’t update to show anything until the 30th iirc. Steve sent me a 17track link, it’s still sitting in china with a depart date of 06-02..

Aha, but from IL? Is Steve shipping from the States?

I'm a novice, but I think the lag you're waiting on is for it to arrive in the States. Once there, it's introduced to USPS system. It took about 10 days for mine to hit Germany (with no activity on the DHL website), but once it hit Germany and was active on DHL, it was super quick.

I just got a reply from Steve. Apparently for USPS shipments, they are no longer triangular shipping. USPS goes from Hong Kong to the US. This means it SHOULD be quicker, but we'll see.

The last watch I had shipped via USPS took about 2 or so weeks to get to me. So I SHOULD start seeing some movement on the tracking number in a few days.

Shipping from China is a mess right now, 2 weeks to a month, shit, even 45+ days is not uncommon at this stage in time.

Mine just arrived in the us, so 9 days from receiving tracking to landing in the us. I’m gonna guess another 3-5 days in customs and 3-5 days to get to me.
