Hey, first of all thanks for maintaining this awesome forum! I've been browsing around for the last couple months and finally decided to create my own account to get in touch with the folks over here. I might have missed a dedicated hint but it looks like this thread is one of the very few where I am actually able to post a reply. Creating a new thread isn't allowed either. Could someone please point me to the right direction where an unlocking routine of some sort is written down? Thanks in advance!

If you're posting here you should be ok 🤷‍♂️

But I have seen new members being advised to log out completely, clear cookies & then log back in. Seems to do the trick for them.

Welcome aboard & enjoy exploring the forum.

Great post for new folks on the forum (me). Before I found this forum I was going through different sites, and as was mentioned in the forum notes, if you Google, you find a lot of misinformation or fake reviews.. I never even thought of fake websites! Anyhow, it's a great read and I finally made
my first purchase from https://theonewatches.io/, I found a simple watch I always wanted, hopefully, things work out, if so, I will sure pick up a few more for fun!

Hi and welcome to RWI! Glad you found your way here.

Please take some time to read the sticky threads in the new members area (all subsections), learn the basic forum rules and get some very good advice in the process. A number of questions has already been answered there, this is just an example:

Another good thread to read to understand where RWI comes from and some fundamentals is this:

For anything else, feel free to reach out to @eBoy or me, we're happy to assist.

This forum is a treasure trove of information and benefits from the engagement of all members who take their time to share their knowledge, help each other out and have some fun. We hope that you'll benefit and enjoy this platform as well as contribute positively to it.

Even though it says read this after making your first purchase, I actually found most of this information more valuable BEFORE making my first purchase lol. Some great points on what to expect.

Really useful information for us to stay reasonable and to trust the TDs as well as the many users of our community

Thank you for this article. I joined a few years ago and didn’t read any of the new member recommend articles, opting rather to find a TD and place my first order for 5 watches.

Embarrassed to say I made just every one of the mistakes listed, other than “speaking” to my TD in a poor. The whole experience was less than satisfactory mostly because I neglected to read the excellent new member articles or take the time to do research on the to various watch models, TD’s, and all the other things to consider before placing a first order.

I recently found my way back here and have been making my way through trove of valuable and useful information this amazing forum and its members have put together.

Learning so much, appreciate the member knowledge and the willingness to share.

Hi, really enjoying the forum and I am currently awaiting my 126610LN sub from CTime. I must say my dealings with CTime have been very encouraging so far. QC pics great, time graph and pressure tests on time too. Now in that uneasy period awaiting delivery of my new watch. Earlier on this thread it was advised that we could send off our new watches for a service (and maybe waterproofing?) I can’t find a thread that discusses or provides info on individuals that could do this For me? Can you please point me in the right direction please Of someone who specialises on reps and can do the necessary work? Thanks.

Try here:

Or simply call watchmakers around you and ask if they have any qualms working on a replica watch. If they're missing I with it, make sure they know and can actually work on the particular movement you want to service.

Last 2 cents, don't sent in for a service if the watch works, use it till it shows problems, if any.
