Hello RWI readers,
I've been interested in Rolex watches and have been collecting and using genuine pieces for the past few years. Recently, since the gen prices have been going down, I've been exploring the world of replicas, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality I've encountered. I stumbled upon the NWBG list and began researching the watches that piqued my interest. I was particularly impressed by the superb clones of the 126900 Air-King.
I was either going to get Clean or GMF. Everyone likes the Clean version, but I found the crown sign way different than Gen. I compared GMF, which looks way better. Also, the "STEEL INOX" is a massive problem in Clean Factory pieces I can't unsee it now!
The thickness of the 126900 Air-King from Clean Factory is 12.5 mm; however, GMF has a thickness of 11.9 mm, which is closer to the gen (11.6 mm). They both are VR3230 Movement, which has excellent feedback in this forum.
I contacted a couple of TDs and finally found Lucy from True Time. We started talking on WhatsApp, and she is so helpful and cares about her customers. Unlike other TDs, they don't have a Website, but whatever you ask, she answers and makes sure you understand her. I asked many questions, but she replied with longer texts than I had sent.
I wanted to compare the feeling of getting a genuine watch with a super clone rep, so I've ordered a 126900 GMF Air-King and a Rolex full-set box with the customized serial number of the watch that I'm getting on the latest NFC card. I'll share all my experiences through this thread.
- On 5/6/24, Funds were sent to Lucy via Wise. Now, I'm waiting for the QC pics.
Happy forums, everyone!
