These things happen sometimes with shipping and it can become frustrating and worrisome, but I'm sure Andrew will make it right one way or another. This hobby that we all have has hiccups, especially in the shipping dept.

I hear you and if it hadn’t reached the Royal Mail tracked 48 stage I would be patiently prepared for a lengthy wait as customs is a game of chance. Still I can only hope you are right, I will wait another week or two and see what happens, and then see what their response is at that point.

One thing is clear though, only the shipper can file any claim on International signed for and tracked 48 but even then it won’t be without full proof of package value and as package was declared at $15 I don’t see it being meaningful

Tracking via RM48 stopped on 23rd Feb at the Midlands Super Hub and hasn’t updated since, watch is assumed lost. Never happened to me before in my 55 years of RM use. Cleared customs the afternoon before according to the China Post tracking but then disappeared when moves to RM48 service.

Andrew has kindly promised to send a replacement and I am waiting for QC pics, but will continue to update this thread until the end.

Ah cheers, how did you convince him? I'm still chatting over email, no progress, just keeps on asking me to make a claim which is a pointless endeavour.

3rd March is what it's stuck on, but it was marked as out for delivery on the 3rd or 4th before reverting back to the previous tracking state. I assume it was meant to be delivered but was stolen at the MC.

How did you go about getting the replacement?

I think you need to need to wait a little longer, mine has only just been green flagged for replacement and it was 12 days earlier than yours. So I think it’s fair enough to wait for a while longer to be sure it’s not stuck at that back of a warehouse. Then maybe after another ten days ask Andrew again and then open a ticket here and ask a mod for help.

Slightly worrying if this is becoming an issue into the UK and it might call for a different shipping method from the TD going forward?

Wanted to ask, how did you get proof of packaging being lost. TD is asking for an email from royal mail which RM are unwilling to provide as they apparently don't have a template for it. I am wondering how you went about this.

We have spoken but there is nothing I can do? I myself had to open a RWI ticket to help with resolution via Ralphy, I have no way of helping myself.

My package was probably stolen at RM hub, RM are zero use, won’t say a thing other than tracking suggests item lost and sender can claim up to insurance value. Not recipient.

I just came across this and wanted to quickly chime in. I am happy that in the end he took care of the customer. I'm trying to decide on the next td I am going to cop from, and Andrew has just earned a seat at the table.
