Tracking provided, advised to wait for 5-7 days before becomes “visible”.

Package seems to have been held up, due to be delivered today but hasn’t moved or scanned again from the Super hub, so definitely not with the local delivery office. Patience may be required!

UK RM Tracking still not updated and seems to be stuck in the hub, probably with a batch of post in a cage that has been overlooked. Let’s hope for some movement next week!

Royal Mail consider the item lost tomorrow and no scan has been achieved in 8 days now.

Andrew informed at Trusty Time so we will just how trusty the seller is now!

Andrew following up with shipper who is investigating but I assume watch stolen at Royal Mail Midlands Super Hub. I await next steps and confirmation of replacement

Andrew at Trusty Time and his shipper seem to think I need to file a claim for the watch, however Royal Mail are clear in this, items send International tracked and then Royal Mail tracked 48 must be claimed by shipper. I am now trusting that Andrew and Trusty Time @trustytime send a replacement and confirm this because obviously a watch being lost/stolen in transit is the responsibility of the shipper. This is hopefully one of many reps to be ordered but I need to know I will receive a replacement…

Yet another reply asking me to file the claim

“Shipper has informed that the declared item is Stainless steel bracelet and amount is $15

Do keep me posted after the case has been open and provide me the details, so I can forward it to the shipper”

Andrew @trustytime please confirm you understand you have to file the claim. So far you have not even mentioned how you may make this situation “good” which is not very reassuring

Another reply from Andrew / David Smith telling me I have to make the claim, and I have supplied screenshots from Royal Mail which says when you try and make a claim that only the shipper can do so for tracked 48 and international postage.

I have sadly had to raise a ticket with admin to try and assist :(

Andrew replied and said that his shipper was investigating and a replacement would be provided if they confirmed item lost. Royal Mail tracked 48 hasn’t updated since Feb 23rd and so I cannot see any reason to doubt that item is lost.

Will hope for confirmation of this from Andrew @trustytime later this week

Got to be honest, this is starting to feel like Trusty Time is essentially saying that a lost package is not their responsibility, instead putting the onus on customer to claim, which in this case is not possible.

I have opened a ticket with the mods, who have been helpful but still @trustytime say it’s my problem and not theirs.

There's a reason that @trustytime is a TD here and has been for a long time. I would try to have a little more patience, no offence.

Thanks for your reply, I appreciate it. So you think laxk of scan for a Royal Mail tracked 48 package (which cleared customs on 22nd Feb) is not unusual? My patience is mostly being tested by his constant repetition re claiming via Royal Mail which can only be done by shipper as per RM website and their CS team.

These things happen sometimes with shipping and it can become frustrating and worrisome, but I'm sure Andrew will make it right one way or another. This hobby that we all have has hiccups, especially in the shipping dept.
