First rep ever! Went with Hont for a VSF 126610ln

Thanks for an amazing forum. Didn't know shit about reps 2 weeks ago, have been amazed by the rep market since.

Thought I'd do research for a month or two before striking, but initiated my first rep order already today with a VSF 126610ln.

Timeline so far:
14.04.2023 - Checked availability
14.04.2023 - Availability confirmed + confirmed QC within 24 hours (can that really be true?)
14.04.2023 - Payment initiated

Hi I have just received the VSF Sub Blue Dial Black Face via J Time, sort of not great, the look is great, but the piece is really let down by sharp edges around the strap, bezal and clasp, was advised that the clean factory version is better, however the mechanism is not as good as the VSF

Sorry to hear that.. Not sure if yours was from a bad batch, or if I just didn't have the highest of expectations, but I'm overall very happy with mine. Have constantly stared at it since arrival Hope you have better luck next time!

I received my vsf sub afew weeks ago now and it was a little sharp feeling. Gave it to @StreetFighter for some refinishing and boom it’s awesome. Get in touch with him.

Thank you for a great post. I am a newbie as well as you. I know nothing about reps as well until a random ad appeared on my fb page about 3 weeks ago. I thought it was a scam ad so I reluctantly messaged the dealer. I can't believe my eyes seeing a rep Rolex as good as the gen. I bought the Starbucks of Clean Factory and received the watch in just over a week. I was blown away by the quality of the rep watch in hand. Mind you I have the gen 116610LN and a couple others but this Starbucks rep was indistinguishable from them. My introduction to the rep world began.
