About 7 weeks ago ordered Omega NTTD watch. Process was straight forward, QC video, pics , etc. Finally got the watch, but it had a small mechanical issue ( when changing the time, it would jump, and skip if moved backwards. Naturally that is not something one does regularly, but clearly there was a problem). Elliot requested to ship the watch back, which i did. Its been 2 weeks since it arrived in China, but no tracking update to show delivered, and I can't get straight answer from Elliot. It is most frustrating. I know many of you had a good experience with Andiot, but hasn't been the case for me. Its also makes it worse as this is my first order with Elliot ( I've ordered through Trusty twice so far). Im still hopping this issue will get fixed, and I wont feel that i lost my $$$.

Where are you based? He didn’t have someone local to look at it (what I did with Trusty when had an issue here in the US)?

Located in USA. Elliot just requested to ship the watch back ( remove the band first). I thought standard procedure was to recommend a local spot for repair, but I followed what TD instructed and now its been a month and no word yet.

Located in USA. Elliot just requested to ship the watch back ( remove the band first). I thought standard procedure was to recommend a local spot for repair, but I followed what TD instructed and now its been a month and no word yet.
Elliot doesn’t control customs and shipping. He probably knows just as little about where the package is as you do. The only thing you can do is sit back and wait.

The general recommendation is not to send watches back to China. It’s risky both for you, as the watch could go missing and for the TD receiving it.

Sending back watches to China is not recommended and take weeks or months.

Just get it serviced locally.

I understand, But i assumed TD has better idea how to solve this . I trusted a TRUSTED DEALER. LOL

That comment is unnecessary and not helpful. Naturally I don't assume that TD is the China post tzar, all I'm saying that i got a defective watch ( how did it pass QC I have no idea) , followed TDs instructions and now I'm being ghosted.

There are a million posts saying don't send back to China. It's a miracle that it made it here to the states in the first place, having it go back and forth twice is playing with fire.

That said, I hear you. It's kind of bullshit a bunch of people are yelling at you for doing what the dealer told you to do, but its for your own good.

Jokes aside, my point was that you're not being ghosted - most likely they know just as little about your package as you do. You’ll get an update when they actually know something - that’s usually how it works (y)

I don't think @Elliot Black is ghosting you bro. He's probably getting TONS of emails and possibly doesn't have an answer yet. I've done 99.9% of my business with Andiot and even if it takes a while (or a long time), they'll take care of you. I don't know about his staff, but he's a legit guy.

I appreciate that info. Yeah, we are in communication, and things are moving. It's just a bad luck that my first purchase with Elliot had issues. Problems are unavoidable, but true sign of a good dealer is how he takes care of them. So far Elliot been solid. But I'll keep posting on progress.
