Congratulations on your first purchase! You have a lot to look forward to
I've bought from many different TDs here, including Andrew, and I have yet to have any issues with customs (knock on wood). They know what they’re doing when it comes to shipping across borders.
But of course, sometimes you’re unlucky and that’s a risk we take. I recommend familiarizing yourself with the sellers' TOS, as they usually outline how they handle situations where packages are lost or stuck in customs.
Like Josse I have bought a number of watches from a few different TD and have not had any problems with shipping and/or customs. Main thing is to have some patience as the process and take a few weeks.

Thanks for the info. Of course I read on the seller's website "what to do in case of problems with shipping". However, I was interested in how it looks from the technical side, i.e. whether such problems occur often (in your case, fortunately, they did not occur at allCongratulations on your first purchase!
